2002 Bentley Azure LHD - 9.000 miles only
A fantastic example of the fabulous Azure with a super low mileage
Condition, naturally is fantastic, akin to what's expected of a luxury, top of the line Bentley which has been owned by the mega rich and looked after accordingly
Tremendous colours too, "triple black" being the period description for the previous Continental DHC - Masons non metallic black - which shines with such a deep lustre - black hides every where inside and mohair hood to match too
A few nice Mulliner features have been subtly slipped in - veneered door panels under the special fully veneered door cappings, 5 spoke 18" alloys wheels with chrome finish, special bright work to headlamp bezels, wooden gear selector, drilled aluminium pedals & chrome instrument bezels add to the comprehensive standard features thrown in originally when new and costing £250.000
Supplied to her first owner by the wonderfully named (how do our friends over the pond keep on coming up with these fabo' names?) Rusnack Motors of Passadena, California.
She stayed in the sunshine state until 2007 when she came back home, at which point only 1.487 miles had been covered
Her new owner kept her in England and also Ireland, where he kept homes and then when sold to the most recent owner - incidentally a chap with Ferrari's, racing cars, Bentley's etc, indeed 20 cars at the last count - took her to be used at his holiday home in the Balearic Islands
Mileage was still minimal and naturally the most rigorous Spanish IVA test was passed with flying colours and without incident
She remains registered in those lovely islands, and should the new owner prefer UK registration, we can of course help out here
Complete with all books, manuals, Spanish registration papers, service paperwork and correspondence together with both small and large tools too
The odometer is registering less than 9.000 miles since new ( actually 8.992 ) and to drive her is to understand why these cars were so very expensive when new
In fact she is simply amazing on the road with superb acceleration (especially for such a big car - 6.75 litres of turbo charged V8 engine have something to answer for here), fabulous ride / handling and silent operation of the hood and seats etc
Whoever takes her over is getting truly remarkable version of this iconic drop top 4 seater and against the earlier Continental DHC, this does represent supreme value for money
