1996 Aston Martin DB7 Volante - 56.000 miles only
What an exciting Aston - this very early example was personally commissioned by the Sultan of Brunei and was delivered by the Factory directly - she was allocated chassis number 25 actually, which must be one of the first production cars available to the "general public"
The Royal family kept her in their enormous collection and barely used the Aston at all during their ownership
Thereafter we purchased the vehicle in 2001 from the Sultan's Collection, with only 250 miles since new
So nice was she that we used her for a year before offering her for sale in the open market, when we then sold her to the former Worldwide Sales & Marketing Director for Rolls-Royce & Bentley Motor Cars
He kept her for a number of years and then part exchanged her another Aston from us
The most recent keeper was again, what we could call, a Capt of Industry, being the Vice Chairman of a famous personal bank founded in the 17th Century
In fact, we have sold her every time since the purchase by the Royal Family and regularly serviced her in between times
Still in the original colours of gracing green with a green hood, a dark red interior and the optional split rim alloy wheels she must be one of the most striking Volante's around
Naturally there is full instruction pack, service voucher booklet, a full history folder, indeed everything on this 21 year old is still in amazingly immaculate condition too, making this one of the best supercharged DB7 Volante's available anywhere, anytime
A true piece of Aston history
